Yunmao Here! I am back in Japan now and once again America was really fun!
This time I was there for an event outside of the Otaku world but many people still asked me about Cosplay!! The Mid-Atlantic Model Search was very fun and we were able to raise allot of money for Breast Cancer! It was fun to hang out with Nate Quarry, Lisa, the other judges and all the contestants!
This time I also had photo shoots, meetings, and lots of interviews! I am still tired from my trip so I will leave you with a couple pictures. Please come back soon to see more photos and hear of my adventure! Sleeping n-o-w. . . >THUD!<

I am Yunmao Ayakawa, A Japanese Cosplay Idol, Actress, Artist, Writer, Race Queen, and Stage and TV Personality! Since I was small I always loved Anime and Manga and started roll playing characters until I was scouted 7 years ago. Since then I have worked for magazines, news papers, events and have been on TV in 3 different countries. Recently I was elected Board Member and Spokes Person of the Nihon Maid Association and have been working on new projects in America! Speaking of which- I hope everyone reads my ongoing "Cosplay Cafe" segment in Otaku USA Magazine it keeps you up to date with the latest trends in Akiharbara and other events in Japan. I have been very busy since I last came to America! It'll be hard to put everything in this post but this is where you can come from now on to keep up with all my present and future activities!
Now let's begin with this months exciting news and updates!!
I have known for some time but now I can finally announce that I will be coming back to America in July to Judge a model Search competition in Maryland for UjENA swimsuits!! The winner gets to go to the big UjENA Jam model competition in Puerto Vallarta!! I am excited because this is very different from the maids and Otaku Culture- I am nervous but I will do my best! Plus I get to meet Nate Quarry from UFC!!! I know it is not a cosplay event but Cosplayers are models too so I hope to see some of you there! I am also very excited because KID NEMO COMPANY who sell's a lot of character figurines and character goods in America asked me to be their new model to promote their company!!! If you are at Anime Expo you will see my new flyer to jump start the new campaign!! If not at AX don't worry they will be passed around the US and there will be a series of them so collect them all!!
